AFFINITY
CHAMBER PLAYERS
The highest goal is to combine innovation with memory, to build with a consciousness of the past. That way one can create something new through an act of will, not merely by accident

Outreach

The general aim and purpose of Affinity Contemporary Chamber Ensemble is to cultivate, promote, foster, and develop relationships between living composers and performers, with an emphasis on those in the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to foster the composition of new pieces of chamber music, to provide performances, readings, and recordings of these pieces, to encourage a dialogue between composers and performers, to introduce newly-composed music to listeners that may be unfamiliar with it, and to keep the growth of new work alive in music .
